Documents Online, Inc. provides affordable document scanning services at our facility. Documents are scanned, indexed by OCR and then published to Compact Disc, DVD or the Internet. Documents may then be retrieved effortlessly and quickly utilizing the LaserFiche state-of-the-art search engine.
Files are scanned or electronically converted and a high-resolution photocopy is retained. Electronic "index cards" can attach information to a document such as author, reference number or date created. No longer just ink on a page, document text is also "read" by Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology which allows you to search for a file by any word or phrase in the text and locate the document you need in seconds.
